

He was predeceased by his parents, Leo and Mary (Blass) Schwartz, his sister Toba Kramer, and his beloved wife, Rhoda (Zelinsky) Schwartz.
Born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, in 1929, he met Rhoda in eighth grade in Manchester, NH, and the childhood sweethearts went on to enjoy 69 years of marriage. He is survived by his two daughters, Jody (David) Jordan and Marcy (David) Rosenzweig; and his four grandchildren, Daniel (Lauren Woodard) Jordan, Zachary (Sarah) Jordan, Benjamin (Samantha) Rosenzweig, and Adam (Lindsay) Rosenzweig. He is also survived by his loving nieces and nephews
His nine great-grandchildren were his special pride and joy, and he enjoyed many wonderful visits with his growing family.
After graduating from the University of New Hampshire, Arnold was commissioned an officer in the United States Air Force, and he and Rhoda traveled around the country for several years before settling down in Manchester, NH, and starting their family. Upon retirement from a sales career, they moved to Pinehurst, NC, where he enjoyed a busy social life playing golf, bridge, and regaling his many friends with timeless jokes.
Arnold was a proud veteran. Donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or to the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
