Bill was a United States Navy veteran who also served as a submarine painter by trade.
He was preceded in death by his mother Georgia Lewis.
Bill is survived by his wife of 70 years, Marie Morin; son, Eric and Tonya Hunter; daughters, Cheryl and Joe Stoddard and Brenda and John Schmitt; grandchildren, Andrew Clenney, Cate Clenney and Dylan Hunter; and great-grandchild, Savannah Corwin.
A committal service with military honors will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 21, 2022, at Sarasota National Cemetery, 9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241.
