Carmen Dorothy Barrett, age 104, a resident of Sarasota, Florida for over 35 years, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 17, 2024 surrounded by family.
Carmen was born on January 22, 1920 in New York City, NY to Arthur and Elizabeth Evans.
Her husband, Francis Barrett pre-deceased her.
She is survived by her daughters, Beth Wallace of Sarasota and Samida Johnson of Bradenton, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 starting at 1:00 pm at Robert Toale & Sons at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave, Sarasota, FL 34232.
