

Visitation will be held Thursday, from 4-6 p.m., at Palms-Robarts Funeral Chapel, Honore Ave., with a memorial service directly following at 6:00 p.m.
Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Dara; daughter, one daughter, Carly of Sarasota; Mother and Step-Father, Joyce and Martin Welch of Bradenton; two brothers, Thomas of Aiken, SC and Paul Welch of Bradenton; one sister, Annette Welch of St. Petersburg; an uncle, Earl Hunter of Bradenton; a very dear friend Elva Powers, as well as several brother and sister-in-laws, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is predeceased by his father, Charles Franklin Hunter, Sr. and his daughter, Erika Paige Hunter.
Chuck worked many years for Florida Power & Light. He obtained his Master Electrician’s License and eventually left Florida Power and Light after starting his own electrical contracting business, Hunter Electric. Several years later, he obtained his Residential Contracting License and established Hunter Contracting Services.
Chuck was a devoted husband, father, son and friend to many. He will be greatly missed.
