Clifton F. Parker, age 91, beloved husband of Rosemary for 71 years, devoted father of Robin Parker (Bernie), Cathy Siedlak (Ed) and Susan Jacobs and grandfather of Joe (Ashley), Emily (Francisco), Leigh (Tyler), Andrew, Parker and Daniel, died at home in Sarasota, Florida, surrounded by his family on August 8, 2025. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Frank Jacobs.
Cliff was a builder that could fix anything. . He was always helping someone build, remodel or complete a project. He built a beautiful and loving family as well as a successful structural steel construction company while living in Worthington, Ohio. He rebuilt and restored antique cars, including a 1954 Jaguar and a 1960 Morgan.
Growing up in Memphis Tennessee, “Red” was an accomplished athlete and an all-state football and baseball player. He was an avid golfer, a long time member and board member of York Country Club. He scored the last of his five holes-in-one the day after his 85th birthday. He loved to play golf with his wife Rosemary, sons- in -law and grandson Joe.
He was loved deeply and will be forever remembered and missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.
