A retired employee of Sarasota Herald-Tribune, Clyde worked in the printroom. He loved to laugh and making others laugh, watching Laurel & Hardy, and sharing stories with his family. Clyde loved pets especially his dogs.
He is survived by his daughter, Carolyn; thirteen grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 in Palms-Robarts Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home.
