

Corey will be deeply missed everyday by his parents, Scott and Denise Jenson, son, Kai Jenson, grandmother, Anita Edwards (Jim), sister, Katie Hipsher (Kevin), brother, James Jenson (Irene), niece and nephews, Carter, Kendall and Luke Jenson and Kellen and Keegan Hipsher. He was loved by his many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and will be sadly missed.
Born and raised in Sarasota, FL, Corey was a 1998 graduate of Sarasota High school. He attended Manatee Community College and Keiser College.
Corey was employed by Arox Underground Utilities as a Superintendent. He excelled in his profession and had worked for companies in Florida, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina. From an early age Corey loved fishing, boating and most anything that was adventurous. During his younger years Corey played baseball for Sarasota Little League and Sarasota Babe Ruth, football for the Ringling Redskins, and ran in 5k & 10k races. He loved surfing, skydiving and snow skiing.
Corey was a loving father to his son, Kai. Their time together was always full of adventure and fun. Corey and Kai loved going dirt bike riding together and also shared fun times playing Fortnite and video games.
One of Corey’s many accomplishments was designing and building an amazing backyard tree house for his son and nephews, with the help of his father, Scott. Corey was a loving son and best friend to his mother, Denise.
Corey will forever be remembered for his kind hearted soul, always willing to lend a hand.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 1:00pm at Sarasota Alliance Church located at 7221 Bee Ridge Road, Sarasota FL.
