Dorothy was a graduate of Manatee High School, class of 1956. She grew up on Anna Maria Island, which she loved . She also loved baking, traveling, crafts, painting and being an after school care teacher at Lakeview Elementary.
Dorothy is survived by her loving children, Melody Pevy Vilt (Guy) and Douglas Robertson (Lisa); sisters, Gwen Ingram Wilson, Linda Ingram Wingard and Gail Ingram Hayman (Council “Corky”); brother, Jerry Roy Ingram (Connie); cherished grandchildren, Jessica Robertson, Taylor Vilt and Dylan Robertson; nieces and nephews, Cathy Wilson Dieter, Michael Wilson, Suzette Wilson, David Wingard, Scott Hayman, Jill Ingram Varna, Cari Ingram Losada, Marilyn Kent Tapajna and David Kent. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Charles Jones Robertson.
Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Sarasota National Cemetery.
