Frances Madeline Johnson, 94, of South Amboy, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025. Born on June 11, 1931 in South Amboy, she lived a life devoted to her family and filled with love, kindness, and cherished memories.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward W. Johnson; her parents Stanley Dziekan and Catherine Pieściński Dziekan; her brothers Anthony Yuhas and Walter Dziekan;her sister Dorothy Pich; and her stepdaughter, Annabelle Petys.
Frances is survived by her children Edward Johnson of Nokomis, Frances McKemy of North Carolina, Kathy Powell of Sarasota, and Donna Tores of Alva. Stepdaughter Barbara Bertucci. Frances is also survived by her sisters Madaline Yuhas and Mary Anne Kupsch. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of her life.
A dedicated and loving wife and mother, Frances enjoyed traveling and treasured time spent with family. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the love she shared so generously with those around her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carolina Caring of North Carolina in honor of Frances's memory.
The family will have private burial services in Sarasota.
