Herbert was born in Mulberry, Indiana on June 13, 1925. He was married to Rita A. Hamilton on June 11, 1950.
Herbert worked in Auto Mechanics for his own business. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and had a passion for gardening.
Herbert is survived by Sandra S. Henrichs (Swanson, Ned), Donna K. Henrichs (Vliet), David W. Henrichs (Renee), and Shirley A. Henrichs (LaPenna). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
