We were sadden to hear of the passing of John.  He was a great friend to my family when John worked with my mother (Wanda) at AT&T.  I still remember playing clay tennis doubles with his son Jon myself, against John and Wanda.  Jon & me lost and where covered in clay by the end of the first set.

John & I shared the same homeroom in high school for 4 years.  From his pictures posted online, it looks as if John led a good life with a great family! RIP John! "A big Hurrah for your life"!

I was a field sales person at AT&T Paradyne when I first met John. He was a true professional in his work and his interactions with all those who had the pleasure to know him. It is obvious fom the photo album that these traits were also in his family life. I send all his family my condolences and my prayers.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. I remember the first meeting we had upon his arrival at Paradyne and also his true sincerity in the 3 layoff's that he had the unfortunate position of announcing to us but he did it with class and true genorosity when he told me he would always be a reference if needed. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss of John. I was really taken aback when I heard of his passing.  As you know, John and I worked together at times and we competed at times.  I always respected him for his knowledge and professionalism.  I enjoyed our social get-togethers, though infrequent.  Pauline and I especially enjoyed playing tennis at Bardmoor with you and John the day before you left for Vegas to get married.  My memory will be the gleam you both had in your eyes for each other.  Rest assured that you and the rest of John's family will be remembered in my prayers as you grieve your loss.

I love my Uncle John and will always remember his visits to Evansville when I was growing up.  He took my sisters, Linda & Josetta and myself to the movies, out sledding and numerous conversation in my Grandmother's kitchen about everything.  The best thing was he listened to three girls and their opinions and debated us respectfully, which was awesome.  He invited me to visit his home in New Jersey, soon after I got married and was so very gracious to not only me and Regan but the friends we brought with us.  And the last time I saw Uncle John's face was in Hawaii, the Island of Maui with Terry and Jon Jon.  Riding horses through a cattle ranch, playing cards at the condo, a great time we had.  My Uncle John will be missed greatly by those of you who saw him daily but he will also be missed and a void created by those of us that saw him briefly here and there and have memories of him from a long time ago.

I was shocked to see that John had passed away, I am so sorry for your loss.  Your husband was the epitome of a classy, kind and funny man, a man among men!  I have the fondest memories of him spanning over the 20 or so years I had the fortune of knowing him.  Even when I hadn't spoken to  him for a few years I still felt such a close connection to him, he had a sincerely about him that is rare these days.  It was also a great experience for me to have sold real estate for you both because of the faith he placed in me and in return I worked to find  you both somewhere that would make you both happy.  My only regret is that Bob and I never made it to Parrish to visit your new home.  Our intentions were good but it does prove that you should not put off those things that matter most in life and that is staying connected to one another.

I have the fondest memories of an extremely classy man who held himself to a different standard than most people do these days and I feel  so sorry for your loss.
