John P. Schultz "Jack," born in Mount Vernon, NY, and a Sarasota resident since 1989. Beloved husband of 40 years to his wife Jeanine. He is survived by his wife, his daughters Katherine and Elizabeth, his mother Edith, and his sisters Pam, Rosemary, and Joan. He was a loving husband, and a terrific father with a great sense of humor. Jack was very proud of his daughters, and loved spending time with family. Having been a tennis pro in college, he loved being out on the court teaching his daughters to play. He often coached their softball teams and encouraged them in all they did. He also enjoyed a great camaraderie with his nephews, and loved them all. His ready wit, tremendous courage, and good spirits in the face of illness were an example to his family and all who knew him. A memorial Mass is being held at 1 PM Tuesday, Oct 11 at Incarnation Catholic Church, Sarasota. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society.
