Joshua Robert Klei

Joshua Robert Klei passed away in the arms of his parents at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL on December 18, 2016. He was born on November 21, 2016 and after fighting a rare combination of congenital heart defects for 28 days, he passed peacefully into eternal life.

Joshua is survived by his parents, Michael and Kristen Klei of Rogers, AR, his maternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Zieminski of Sarasota, FL and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Lois Klei of Sarasota, FL.

In his short time with us, Joshua enjoyed head rubs from his mother, squeezing the finger of his father and listening to his parents read him books. He received the most loving care his family could ever hope for from the entire staff in the CVICU at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL while his parents were blessed to be able to stay so close to him at the Ronald McDonald House in the hospital.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Martha’s Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m. on December 23, 2016 and The Rite of Committal will follow at the Palms-Robarts Funeral Home and Cemetery in Sarasota, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital or to the Ronald McDonald House of Tampa Bay.
