Lee Ruggles passed away on January 14 in Sarasota, and is survived by her loving family, sister Faith Frankel, brother Harold Frankel; children Elliott (Debbie) Friedman, Debbie McCarthy, and David Friedman; grandchildren Jeremy (Autumn) Friedman-Dalton, Jaime (David) McCarthy Hollander, Allie (Ryan) McCarthy, Mike (Nelda) McCarthy, Kimberly (Daniel) Townsend, Veronica Friedman and Jarret (Taynia) Friedman; and 10 great-grandchildren. An RN by profession, Lee was an active volunteer for Hadassah and Chabad where she loved learning. Funeral services are January 17, 1pm at Chabad Gardens, Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota.
