

FELDSTEIN, Marsha Rochelle, “Mushy”, 79, of Sarasota, FL, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend, passed away peacefully on the morning of September 22, 2025, at Tidewell Hospice in Sarasota, FL.
Marsha was born in Pittsburgh, PA to Philip and Annette Reicher on January 27, 1946. She attended and graduated from Taylor Allderdice High School and went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Pittsburgh. For over forty years, she was a dedicated public-school teacher, first in Greensburg, PA and then in Bradenton and Sarasota, FL. She enjoyed reading, swimming, and travel, and never gained an appreciation for playing tennis.
Marsha is survived by her husband, Jack Gary Feldstein, her sons, Jeffrey Neal Feldstein (Sonia Katz Feldstein) and Philip Alan Feldstein (Rachel Maeroff), and her grandchildren: Samantha, Cezar, and Jonathan (by Jeffrey), and Joshua, Libby, and Ryder (by Philip). She is preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings, Zell “Buz” Reicher and Judith Reicher Kaufman.
Funeral service will be held at Robert Toale and Sons Funeral Home at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Ave., Sarasota, FL 34232, on October 5th, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. with Rabbi Mimi Weisel of Temple Emanu El, Sarasota, FL officiating. Burial will follow at Palms Memorial Park. Robert Toale and Sons will be handling the funeral arrangements.
