Mary T. "Oma" Putnam, passed away December 21, 2016 in Lakewood Ranch , FL. She was the widow of Charles "Jack" Putnam. They shared 37 years of marriage together. Born in Milwaukee, WI., she was the daughter of Joseph and Justina Sternig.
Mary will be remembered for her countless years of volunteering for many organizations and her love of "clowning" for the sick at local hospitals.
Mary is survived by her son, David (April) Putnam, daughter Sandra (Mark) Ogrizovich, grandchildren Stacy, Dylan, Lisa and Michael, and her brother Adolf (Laurie) Sternig. She was preceded in death by her loving sister Johanna J. Sternig.
A 10AM Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Lakewood Ranch, FL.
