Ollie “Babe” Long, 96, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away on December 22, 2025.
Ollie was born in Soperton, Georgia, to Sidney and Nellie Spann on August 12, 1929. She worked for over 25 years for Manatee County Schools as a bus driver.
Ollie was predeceased by her parents, Sidney and Nellie Spann, her husband Gleason Long, and her 10 siblings.
Ollie is survived by her son John (Cindy), 2 grandchildren, Daniel and Katie, and 3 great-grandchildren, Anthony, Amelia, and Presley, all of Sarasota, Florida.
