Sarasota, FL – P. Jeanne Newman, 89, passed away on November 12, 2020 at Hospice House due to COVID. Born in Providence, RI, she lived in New England until moving to her beloved Signal Mountain, TN in 1967 where she resided as a wife, mother, homemaker and realtor until she and her husband retired to Sarasota, Florida in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick O. Newman; brother, Russell Coe; and sister, Olive Dyer.
Survivors are her twin children, Amy O’Donnell (Sarasota) and Stuart Newman (Chattanooga); grandchildren Sarah O’Donnell, Katie O’Donnell, Chris Newman and great grandchildren Rylee and Christopher Newman.
The family will hold a private service in 2021 at Chattanooga National Cemetery in Tennessee, date to be announced.
