Richard owned and operated Bradenton Fuel Oil, serving Manatee and Sarasota County since 1970. Everything he did, he did for his family and business. Richard graduated from Sarasota High School in 1953 and served for his country in the US Navy from 1954-1956.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Sally; his loving children, Cynthia Cook (Reed), Karen Baldwin and David (Carla); 9 cherished grandchildren and three great granddaughters.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 3 pm at Palms Memorial Park, Sarasota, FL.
Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather that will be dearly missed.
Memorial donations may be made in his honor to the American Heart Association.
