He was an avid bowler, golfer and poker player. He was a member of the VFW and a lifelong Catholic.
Bob is survived by his loving wife, Jean; 10 children, Patricia Earley, Robert (Joley) Billa Jr, David (Linda) Billa, Jerry (Jeanne) Billa, Rosemary (Robert) Bornes, Doreen (Brad) Ranney, Sherry Brooks, Pauline (Kim) Kretchman, Timothy (Debbie) McKinney, Charles (Connie) Billa; a brother, Hank Billa; 2 sisters, Helen Riska and Judy Vorhees; 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Sunday, January 27, 2013 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at Palms-Robarts Funeral Home, Sarasota.
Funeral Mass wil be held Monday, January 28, 2013 at 1:30pm at Our Lady Of Lourdes Catholic Church, Venice with interment following at Palms-Robarts Memorial Park.
