So sorry for your loss.  I met Bob when he was a skinny kid at Henderson Few and I worked at The Palmer National Bank and Trust back in the 70's.  Although I moved back to Minnesota, we kept in touch over the years.  And whenever I got down here, Bob would grill steaks and Carol would fix a fine meal.  I was fortunate to move down here two years ago but we never got together as often as we wanted.  I'll miss his grilled rib eyes.  Rest in peace, Bob.

Bob....he was an amazing friend. When he called our home every day (before Carol was diagnosed), he and my husband Vic would laugh for almost an hour!!! My husband hasn't laughed like that since. I would have never entered Monk's if not for the friendship of Bob and Carol. I'm asthmatic...I carried my inhaler with me! We loved Bob and Carol, our lives are better for knowing them.

From my very first day on the job, when Bob called and said "Just tell him (my boss) BS is on the line and don't let him keep me waiting", he was always the smile on the other end of the line. Bob always had a way of brightening my day and we never had a phone call without a lot of laughing---even on bad market days.  I will treasure those memories and I miss him greatly already.

So very very sorry to hear about Bob's passing...I remember your family and all the fun we had on Fort Myers Beach...my prayers are will all of you...

Bob was a great man. He was a loving husband and raised some awesome children. I have tons of fond  memories of him and his family at our beach condo every summer growing up. I am truly sorry for his families loss and me and my family pray for them in this time of mourning.
