

Roberta Ann Bevilacqua (Johnson), aged 84, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, in Sarasota, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis, to whom she was married for 52 years. Roberta is survived by her children, Charles and his wife Erica, James and his wife Constance, and Robin and her husband Jesse, as well as her three wonderful grandchildren, Nora, Abbie, and Emma. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Josephine and her husband Brian, brother-in-law Anthony and his wife Pamela, and many nieces and nephews.
Roberta, affectionately known as Bobbi, was born in Kearny, NJ. She was a member of The Episcopal Church and earned a Bachelor of Science from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
Bobbi and her husband Louis traveled extensively, but she always cherished returning home. Her family was her world, and she took immense pride in her children’s achievements, encouraging them to reach their full potential. An avid reader throughout her life, Bobbi was a very intelligent woman.
Bobbi was also an accomplished seamstress, skilled in making clothes, blankets, curtains, and onesies for her grandchildren. She created personalized cross-stitch Christmas stockings for her entire family, including her children, their spouses, grandchildren, and her nieces’ and nephews’ children.
Bobbi lived a happy, and fulfilling life. She deeply loved her family, who in turn loved her dearly.
