Born on July 6, 1939 in Schenectady, New York to the late Robert and Charlotte Brown and proudly served in the United States Army.
Ron was a career electrician and a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local #166. In retirement Ron was an avid stain glass artist and enjoyed golfing and spending time with his wife and his canine companion Button.
Survivors include his loving wife of 33 years, Victoria; children, John A. Maier III, Randy Brown (Anne Brown), and Heather Maier (Darren Melvin); cherished grandchildren, Connor Brown and Ryan Brown; nephew, Douglas Brown; niece, Kimberly Carl along with other extended family and circle of friends.
Ron will be laid to rest at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, where a private memorial service will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery located in Schuylerville, New York.
