Born on August 26, 1948, in Paterson, New Jersey, Sharon was a graduate of Passaic High School. In 1983, she relocated to Sarasota, where she built a vibrant life for over four decades.
Sharon had a long and dedicated career as a Medical Office Manager for podiatrist Dr. Robert Cropper. Outside of her professional life, she was a woman of many passions; she loved the thrill of shopping and finding the perfect pair of shoes, but her greatest joy was always found in the company of her family.
She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with those she loved. Her loyal companion, Ziva, her Golden Doodle, was also a constant source of happiness and a beloved member of her family.
She is survived by her husband Larry Braunstein; her sons, Eric and Scott Schwartz; her three grandchildren, Zachary, Zoey, and Everett Schwartz, who were the lights of her life; and her sister, Ilene Stein.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sharon’s memory to the American Cancer Society.
A Committal Service will be held at Palms Memorial Park, 170 Honore Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34232, US, on March 6, 2026, at 10:00 am.
