

Thomas James Kehoe January 6, 1930-May 6, 2015 Tom died on May 6th, 2015 here in Sarasota where he lived for the past 25 years. Tom was born in the Bronx, N.Y He went to schools in the Bronx and attended N.Y.U in Manhattan. He was an executive with the Mobil Oil Corp. working in the New York area until he was transferred to Chicago where he lived in Lincolnshire for 20 years. Tom's avocation was musical theatre and starred in several plays off-Broadway. While in the Army he was in the movie "Man On A Tightrope" and lived on the set for 10 weeks in the Alps. Tom also was a speaker for Mobil, speaking at their conventions in Las Vegas and various other meetings. Tom continued his showmanship by performing in song and dance shows and by being the emcee for St Patrick’s Day dinners, regaling his audience with Irish jokes at the Meadows Country Club. He was the M.C. for the Meadows chorus for 17 years. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 60 years Mary(Rooney) He has six children: Thomas(deceased), Julianne, Therese(deceased), Michael(Cheryl), Maribeth Lee(John)and John. He also has grandchildren: Jason, Ryan, Kaylie, Aidan, Cullen and Jack. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Gerald, Joan Nelson(Don), and Maureen Neubauer(Ray). His family will miss him greatly and forever have great memories of his singing and dancing. His Memorial Service will be held at the Sarasota National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. here in Sarasota on May 20, 2015.
