He was born in Auburndale Florida on March 29, 1946 to Mr & Mrs Harvey and Harriett Cates. He is surviving by his wife of 58yrs Sarah Cates. He has 2 daughters Sarah Molina-Crespo and Mary Bontrager and his son George Cates (Stefanie). He has 13 grandchildren and 22 great children.
He loved to fish, hunt, golf, bowling and camping. He also loved to work in his garden an grow palm trees from a seed. Also he liked to do cookouts and have family gatherings.
