Our dear Willie.   Our very first friend in Lakewood Ranch.  How could we forget you?   We miss you so much and think of you and about you often.  You are always in our thoughts.  We love you Willie.

Hardly a week goes by that while speaking to someone Willie's name does not pop up.  Usually it is in reference to that wonderful women who was always able to bring people together and make wonderful friends out of us all.  Please know you will never be forgotten and that we miss you terribly.

When we first moved to Florida Dave and I were fortunate enough to move into Weston, around the corner from Willie and Norm.  We knew NO ONE.  Well, that didn’t last long! In a very short time, thanks almost entirely to Willie , we had been included in, and were hosting neighborhood dinners,  card groups (no one can forget Mexican Train) and ladies outings. I could go on and on. Because we were lucky enough to meet the dynamo named Willie, in a very short time we had a house full of people who have become lasting friends. Willie also introduced  us to Aslo and Florida Studio where we have been entertained for years. 
I don’t really know if there is an afterlife but, I can see Willie there in her glory, getting everyone more organized and busy, while waiting for the rest of us to get there. (You all know she is not going to do nothing while she waits for us.)

Willie was my very first friend when we moved to Florida.  She was there to help me get involved in the neighborhood whether it playing bridge or going out to lunch with the Ladies.  If I needed help or some type of information Willie was my go to person.  I will miss Willie's wonderful smile, her quick wit, her wonderful laugh, I will just miss her.
