

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Barbara (nee Guilfoyle)Thompson; daughter, Vickie (Chris) Miloshoff; sons, Scott (Marcy) Thompson and Steven (Kelley) Thompson; grandchildren, Bryan Miloshoff, Michael (Crystal) Miloshoff, Taylor Thompson, Clay Thompson and Brenna Thompson; nephew, Ken Stivers and many dear friends.
Preceded in death by sister, Mary Stivers.
Phillip was born on September 3, 1940 in Crofton, KY to the late Arnold 'Shorty' and Delma Thompson and was a 1958 graduate of Hammond Tech Vocational School in Hammond, IN. He proudly served our country in the US Army. Phil retired from LaSalle Steel with over 34 years of service as an electrical supervisor. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and bowling. Most of all, he loved being involved with his childrens' sports and attending his grandchildrens' sporting events.
Phillip was a loving father, grandfather and an especially loving and devoted husband and will truly be missed by all whose lives he touched.
