Sri A.K. Narasimhan grew up in Andhra Pradesh, India with his six siblings, as the son of Krishnaswamy and Kamala Ananthanarayanan. AK Ji and his siblings all helped each other get educated and pursue their life dreams and goals. In 1962, he married his soulmate Jaya as together they would embark on their magnificent journey that would span six decades together. After a career as university educator in India, he pursued his lifelong dream of living in the USA with his family. This dream became reality as AK Ji and Jaya and their children moved to Mesa in 1977, his home for the last 43 years. His legacy includes owning a structural engineering firm, serving his wife and family with dedication and devotion, teaching the right way of life to all he touched, contributing to several local community and educational organizations, and his leadership and devotion with spiritual pursuit. He contributed to various projects for the Ekta Mandir and the Indo US Foundation, and was a founding member and leader of the Mesa Sai Center. He also loved Indian Classical Music and was a founding member of the Fine Arts Association of Arizona. We were all touched by his calm spirit and approach to life. Through this Celebration of Ak Ji’s Life, we can all carry on his legacy.
