Allan Erickson, 93, of Scottsdale, Arizona, passed away on December 14, 2014. Al was born in Chicago, Illinois, March 29, 1921, the oldest of two children of Hjalmar and Marta Erickson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita. Al's zest for life was infectious. In fact, that spirit of life is his legacy. Al, also known as "Dad" and "Pampa," is survived by his three sons, Robert (Deva), Roger, and Richard (Julie), his five grandchildren, Rob, Brian, DeAnn, Katie, and Trevor, and his eleven great-grandchildren, Hope, Kevyn, Keeley, Joshua, Paige, Carson, Ellie, Chase, Brynn, Mikey, and Angela. Family, music, photos, and good food are the traditions he instilled in his family that will carry on for generations to come. The visitation will be on Thursday, December 18, 2014 from 5-7pm, and the service will be on Friday, December 19, 2014 at 11am. Both will be held at Green Acres Mortuary at 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85257.
