Andrew is survived by his life partner Christina, his loving parents Melvyn and Rosa, younger brother Jason, aunts Espe and Cuca, uncles Jesus and Jerry, as well as his cousins Johnny, Kristina, Laidy, and further extended family.
Andrew graduated from Horizon High School in Scottsdale, AZ, and immediately began pursuit of his love of music he inherited from his father by going on to study music theory. Performing for several years as lead guitarist, keyboardist, and songwriter through his time with bands Blynd A.M., Letters to Apollo, and Race You There, Andrew solidified with the local music scene both his instrumental talent as well as his self-declared tone-deaf, yet ever-charming singing voice. It was during this time that he met Christina who would become his closest confidant and the greatest love of his life with whom he would inseparably spend the next ten years.
Music became Andrew's passtime love as his natural wit and exceeding intellect led him to a very successful career in social media management and internet memes.
Andrew was also a celebrated home chef by anyone who had the luxury of visiting his kitchen. Much like his mother, food became one of Andrew's strongest languages of love, and he shared it with whomever he could by happily fattening their bellies with care, endearment, and MSG.
Deep gratitude is held for the incredible staff of Barrow Neurological Institute's intensive care unit who provided the best possible care for both Andrew as well as his family during both his initial treatment as well as the final, intimate moments of his passing.
Andrew's funeral service will take place Tuesday, April 7th, from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery in Scottsdale. Due to the current state of public health concerns, the service will be limited to his family and closest friends, and will be streamed live for loved ones who are unable to attend.
