

Daniel Richard Jojola, 35, took his Heavenly Journey Home the morning of January 4, 2021 surrounded by his Father Joseph, Mother Darlene, Brother Michael, and Uncle Garrison Tahmahkera at Hospice of the Valley in Scottsdale, Arizona. Daniel was born in Phoenix, Arizona on February 17, 1985 to Joseph and Darlene Reid Jojola. He attended Blue Ridge High School in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he attended and graduated (2003) from Menaul Preparatory School. Daniel obtained a BA in Accounting Management and a BA in Finance Administration at New Mexico State University in 2014. At NMSU, Daniel was a NMSU Crimson Scholar for Academics, Phi Theta Kappa Member, President of NMSU Business Council as well as the NMSU Finance Club President. In 2018, Daniel received the NMSU Distinguish Alumni Award in Business.
Daniel moved to Scottsdale, Arizona, where he worked as a Client Representative for Vanguard Investment Services in 2015, and in July 2020, he received his partnership. Daniel was a member of the Pueblo of Isleta in New Mexico and the Kiowa/Comanche Nation of Oklahoma. He was a Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and strived to live accordingly. Daniel was a member of Blue Ridge Christian Center in Pinetop-Lakeside, Arizona under guidance of Pastor Odis L. McCloud and Sister Valora McCloud. He attended Legacy Church (Pastor Steve and Cynthia Smotherman) in Albuquerque, NM; and Hillsong Church (Pastor Terry and Judith Crist) in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Daniel will be greatly missed by his Dad, Mother, Brother, Family and Friends. Daniel will be remembered for his Humbleness, Laughter, Gentleness, Kindness, Thoughtfulness, Positive Attitude, Goal-Setting Determination, and his love of Fishing in the White Mountains, Hiking, Golfing, Cooking and Major League Baseball (MLB) Spring Training Season. During the past few years of his many hospitalizations, the Christian Song “Confidence” by Sanctus Real and reading Psalm 91day would lift his Spirits. We Praise and Thank God that He allowed Daniel into our lives and we will one day rejoice with him in Heaven. Amen.

Jojola Sr.; Mother, Darlene Reid Jojola; Brother Michael Joseph Jojola; Uncle (Grandpa) Garrison (Kayo) Tahmahkera of Tempe, Arizona; Uncle Marvin (Keywolf) Tahmahkera of Chandler, Arizona; Aunt Mary Ann Lente and Aunt Edwina Jiron of Pueblo of Isleta, New Mexico, Aunt Marsha Reid Kelley of Anadarko, Oklahoma and Arlene Reid Schroeder of Casa Grande, Arizona. Daniel is predeceased by Paternal Grandparents Richard and Katherine Jojola and Maternal Grandparents Frankie and Richenda (Tahmahkera) Reid; Aunt Juanita Pahdopony-Mithlo, Aunt Lucretia Helen Reid Thomas; and Uncle Marvin James Reid, Uncle Gary Hunter, and Uncle Michael Cantrell.
‘A Celebration of Life to Honor Daniel Jojola’ will be held in the Pueblo of Isleta, New Mexico and will be announced at a later date.
