Mimi always demonstrated her feisty humor and charming smile, no matter the circumstances. I remember taking night shift at the hospital with her. I rearranged all of the furniture TWICE in the room to make her happy, when really the best thing I did for her was sit outside the room and let her sleep. Cracked me up!!
She will always be with you, in every sarcastically funny comment that you make!

Dee Ann and Paul, Ken and extended families- My deepest sympathies at your time of loss, and may God shower all with His peace and comfort that passes all understanding.  Aunt Doris was a special lady;  I so enjoyed my visits with she and Ken when in the Houston area on business in not too distant days gone by. Your mom and I would have the best time talking for hours, her sharing stories of how she and Uncle Royce met while he was in flight school in the Houston area, and about their special romance. We would laugh for hours remembering her trips to NC to visit with the 'in-laws';  hilarious!  What a blessing you must have been, Dee Ann, caring for your mom in your home these past few years; you have been an inspiration to your entire family. May God bless you all for loving and caring so for your mom.
