Evelyn Marie Maier, 90, of Gilbert, passed away on Jan. 7, 2016. She was born on Nov. 9, 1925 in Chicago, IL to Fred and Marie Gindrig. Evelyn moved to AZ in 1973, where she worked for Robinsons May for 32 years. After her retirement, she moved in with her daughter, Heide and son-in-law, Dennis. Evelyn is survived by her son, Gary (Susie) Maier; daughter, Heide (Dennis) Tomey; and grandchildren, Marissa and Mallory. A luncheon to celebrate her life will begin at 1:00 pm on Jan. 23, 2016 at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden Rd., Scottsdale, AZ.
