Finis was born in Valliant, Oklahoma August 6, 1920 and passed on in Tucson, Arizona August 26, 2019. He was the son of William David and Daisy Dean (Arrendell) Fleming. His beloved wife Juanita (Johnson) and daughter Nita Jo, as well as all of his siblings; Lorean Dozier (Walter), Cooper (Tina), Fred, Alice Baber (Morgan), J.W. (Helen) and Mary Edna(Mussett) predeceased him. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss his caring and positive influence.
He served his country in the Navy during World War II, on the U.S.S. Ringness APD 100, and in the Army National Guard during the Korean War as an electrician and communications specialist. He was employed by Motorola in the Phoenix, Arizona area for more than twenty years before his retirement in 1982. He was a talented craftsman, inventor, photographer, gardener, hunter and fisherman.
He will be laid to rest at a graveside service, next to his wife and daughter at the Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N Hayden Road in Scottsdale, Arizona on September 5, 2019 at 10:00am
