Originally from Rochester, Indiana, George was born on January 19, 1938, and came to Arizona
in 1958. He became an Air Force reservist in the early 60s and later graduated from ASU with a
degree in electrical engineering. He also met his future wife, Donna, around this time and was
married in 1967. He retired in 2009 from Allied Signal. He is survived by: his brother Lincoln Hackett;
sister Marilyn; two sons, Russell and George Randall, and daughter, Kallee. He also has 8
grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services will be held at Green Acres Cemetery on April
2nd. The viewing will begin at 9 am, and the service will begin at 10 am. 410 N Hayden Rd.,
Scottsdale AZ. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research
Hospital on George’s behalf.
