Isaiah Johnathan Farris aka “Izzy” or “Zay” was born in Reno, Nevada on June 20, 1998. He passed from this life on Friday, July 26, 2024 at the age of 26. Isaiah graduated from Grant HS in Sacramento CA and shortly thereafter moved to the Mesa area. He worked at a variety of jobs in the area including pest control, aka as “the bee whisperer” and in medical administration at New Direction.
Isaiah was known for his love for video games, motorcycles, and the color red, not necessarily in that order. He enjoyed astronomy and scaring people. He had an infectious personality demonstrating love and care for the feelings of others. He enjoyed helping people and at times scaring the unwary. For example, he sneaked up on Susan who was working at night and at one point he just stuck his face next to the computer monitor until she jumped. Despite his playfulness he was considerate of others and seemed to express gratitude readily. He played video games with friends both near and far. If he was hear today he would describe himself as Superman. But family would described him as “the smartest dumb person they knew.” In summary, Izzy was full of life and lived life at high speed living each day as if it was his last.
Isaiah is survived by his father Dirk and his wife Susan (mother #2), His mother Misty and her husband Harrell (father #2), three sisters Tabitha, Angelica, and Akeelah and three brothers Caleb, Noah and Micah. He also was survived by many beloved uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and grandparents.
May God bless the memory of Isaiah as a family member and friend.
A Memorial Celebration of Life for Isaiah will be held Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery, 401 North Hayden Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257.
