Born in Durango, Colorado and raised in New Mexico, Janet was an active member of the St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church community and was President of her local chapter of Daughter’s of the King. Janet had a passion for her family, her friends, and her church community.
Preceeded in death by her parents, Hazel and Alex Viles and her brother, Art Viles, and sister, Cathy Lahti. She was survived by her Stepson Greg (Christine) and Grandson Kohl, Brother-in Law Chet Lahti, and 3 nieces and a nephew.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, November 5th, at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Parish in Tempe, AZ. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made in Janet’s name to St. Augustine’s.
