Janice Lee Laurant

Janice was born in Benson, Minnesota on November 23, 1941. She is the daughter of John and Anna (Stone) Laurant. She passed away August 09, 2015 at the Gardens of Scottsdale. Her final days in this community were filled with visits by family members and numerous friends for which we know she was very grateful.

She attended Benson, Minnesota Public Schools where she graduated with the class of 1959. After graduation she moved to Minneapolis and attended The Minneapolis School of Business and worked in the Minneapolis metropolitan area.

In 1961 Janice was married and from that union she has two sons, David E. Andreen, Steven J. Andreen and one grandson Justin D Andreen. In 1971, the Andreens moved to Arizona.

Family always came first for Janice and she always delighted in making everyone feel special. Janice created personalized cards and gifts that always arrived at the right moment. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate with everyone, because she cared for and loved everyone. Everyone’s “special day” always included individualized cakes and cards.

Janice shared the love of family with a huge extended family. She was always the first to extend a helping hand to anyone in the community. She spent her entire time with us serving in leadership roles with the church, the Soroptomist Club and many other civic groups that benefitted all of our communities.
