Jeffrey Wayne Baker

Jeffrey was born on May 19, 1960 in Morris, Illinois. He graduated from Hinsdale South High School in Darien, Illinois. He was married to Judy (Kesely) on August 6, 1983, in Sayreville, NJ.

Jeffrey worked in the Steel Industry for 35 years and SixAxis (Saferack) as Logistics Manager for 18 months. He had several passions – music, going to the beach, DIY, and spending time with his family and friends especially his grandsons. Jeffrey was a diehard fan of the Atlanta Braves, Miami Dolphins, Duke Basketball and Women’s College Basketball.

Jeffrey is survived by his wife of 39 years, Judy, daughter Courtney of Phoenix, AZ, son Dustin and his wife Jen, and his two grandsons Jayden and Declan of Jackson, NJ. He is also survived by his parents Lloyd and Anna Baker of Tennessee, sisters Glenda Hodes (Dave sp.) of Kentucky, Brenda Reek of Pennsylvania, brother Matt Baker (Kimberly sp.) of Tennessee. Brother-in-law Ken Kesely (Carol sp.) of NJ, sisters-in-law Cindy (Dave sp.) of NJ, Kathleen (Anthony sp.) of NJ, Brother-in-law Roger Ruppert of NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey is preceded in death by mother-in-law Hilda Kesely and sister-in-law Barbara Ruppert.

There will be a memorial service at Huntington Beach State Park, South Carolina (South) on December 3, 2022, at 11:00am – on the beach.

There will be a memorial service at Sayreville First Presbyterian Church, Main Street, Sayreville, NJ on December 10, 2022, at 11:00am. Gathering to follow in church hall.
