Jennie Tobin

Jennie Martinez Tobin, 79, of Tempe, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her family on July 14, 2025. Born on December 15, 1945, in Tempe AZ, to Tony and Jennie Galaz-Martinez. Preceded in death by her husband of 30 years Joseph G. Tobin and son Joseph J Tobin. She is survived by her loving children, Debbie L. Hightower, Robert A. Tobin, Toni J Tobin and Christopher J Tobin. Along with 15 cherished grandchildren and 18 beloved great grandchildren.

Jennie served with distinction as a housekeeper in the pediatric ward at Banner Mesa. Her tireless efforts ensured a safe and welcoming environment for children and their families. Reflecting a deep commitment to the well being of others. This left and enduring mark on the hospital community.

In her younger years, Jennie was a passionate softball player, and while raising her family, she instilled the game’s values of teamwork, discipline and resilience as the foundation of her family dynamic.

Please join the family to honor Jennie M. Tobin. July 25, 2025, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel 2121 S Rural Rd. Tempe AZ 85282. Mass services start at 10:00am. Graveside service at St. Francis Cemetery 2033 N 48th St Phoenix AZ 85008 on Monday, July 28, at 8:30am.
