John Kolling, 94, of Mesa, AZ, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2017. John left his family's North Dakota farm and joined the Army when he was 20. He was in the Battle of the Bulge, the last German offensive campaign. John moved to Mesa, AZ in 1958; his work ethic and natural mechanic abilities gave him the opportunity to run his own auto mechanic business, Kolling's Auto Service.
John is survived by his sons Ronald (Nancy) and Jerel, daughter LaVon (Frank) Campos, grandchildren Frank John, Kristen, and Olivia Campos, sisters Georgiana Houser and Rosie West, and brother Frank (Eileen) Kolling. John was preceded in death by his wife Ann Marie, daughter Darlene, four sisters; Catherine Joiner, Lena Sizemore, Anna Wagner, and Pauline Aeschliman, and brothers Joe, Matt, Paul, and George.
