

Born, raised, and educated in Haverhill, MA, son of the late Joseph and Natalie (Paradis) Dupont, he attended Haverhill public schools and graduated from Haverhill High School with the class of 1967. Mr. DuPont served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970 during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged with the rank of Specialist 5.
Following his discharge from the United States Army, he attended the University of Massachusetts at Lowell where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Finance. He worked for the Honeywell Corporation, Charles Schwab, and Wadell and Reed Financial Services.
Before moving to Texas, Mr. DuPont was a resident of Tewksbury, MA for seventeen years, Scottsdale, AZ for eleven years, Cape Town, South Africa, and California.
An avid Red Sox fan, Mr. DuPont enjoyed bowling and was a member of many leagues and bowled in many tournaments. A devoted father, he also enjoyed coaching his son's baseball teams. He enjoyed taking trips to casinos and was a longtime member of the McGregor Smith men's softball team during his time living in Haverhill.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty-two years, Donna (Langlois) DuPont, a son Darryl J. DuPont of Scottsdale, AZ, two sisters, BetteAnn Clohecy of Lawrence, MA, and Marilyn Dusombre of New Hampshire.
