Josette Kohltfarber

Obituary of Josette Kohltfarber
IN THE CARE OF

Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetery

Josette Kohltfarber, beloved wife, daughter, sister, and aunt, age 58, passed away peacefully on April 14, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, laughter, and a spirit that was truly unforgettable.

Born on April 13, 1968, in Los Angeles, California, Josette spent her early childhood in Huntington Beach, California, where she developed a lifelong love for the ocean, sunshine, and the beauty of coastal living. At the age of 10, she moved with her family to Woodland, Washington, where she grew up and graduated from Woodland High School.

Josette built a successful career as an office manager, working with dedication and professionalism at THIS Computer Solution, Capstone Technology, and Convergence Training. She was respected for her work ethic, strong presence, and the care she brought to everything she did.

Josette had a deep appreciation for life and found joy in both everyday moments and new adventures. She loved gardening, baking, waterskiing, and traveling, and had a special passion for shopping—especially when it came to finding great deals and the perfect designer handbag. She took genuine delight in tracking down thoughtful gifts for those she loved, often going out of her way to spoil her nephews with surprises both big and small. Never one to shy away from trying something new, she even learned to slalom water ski at the age of 52, embracing the challenge with her characteristic determination and spirit. Above all, she treasured time spent with her husband and family.

Her love for her three beloved bulldogs—Fabio, Romeo, and Enzo—was a defining part of her life. They were not just pets, but cherished members of her family, and she poured her heart into caring for them. They brought her constant joy, companionship, and laughter, and anyone who knew Josette knew how deeply she loved her boys.

Josette had a spirit for adventure and embraced the world with enthusiasm and confidence. She traveled extensively, creating lasting memories in places such as Mexico, Italy, France, Spain, the Bahamas, and New York—where she especially loved visiting during the Christmas season. She shared these experiences with her husband, Randy, and their love of traveling together was a special part of their life, creating memories that will be cherished forever.

Those who knew Josette will remember not only her kindness and generosity, but also her unmistakable spark. She had a bit of a spicy personality—strong-willed, quick-witted, and never afraid to speak her mind. At the same time, she had a deeply caring and soft heart, always showing up for the people she loved. That unique blend of strength and warmth made her truly one of a kind.

She is survived by her loving husband, Randy Kohltfarber; her mother, Yvonne Sherman, and her husband, Bill Sherman; her sister, Yvette Blankenship, and her husband, Kelly Blankenship; her niece and nephew, Jessica and Scott Rise; and their boys, Ryder and Kash Dean, all of whom held a very special place in her heart.

Josette lived life fully, loved fiercely, and left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. To her husband, Randy, she was the love of his life and greatest companion, and her memory will be cherished until they meet again through God’s grace.
