Murray, Melonie Ann 40, Scottsdale, passed away in her sleep on Monday, September 30, 2014 in her home in Scottsdale, Arizona. Melonie was born July 29, 1974, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and lived many places throughout her short lifetime including Georgia, Illinois, Missouri, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, California and Arizona. She is survived by her mother and father, David and Chaem Murray, Phoenix, AZ; paternal grandmother, Irma Sieg, Branson, MO; sister, Wanda Denton, Chicago, IL; a niece, Destiny Denton, Chicago, IL, a nephew, David Denton, Chicago, IL and numerous aunts and cousins. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, October 7, at Green Acres Mortuary & Cemetary, Rev. Julianne Lewis will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 8 pm, Monday, October 6 at the same location. Contributions in memory of Melonie may be made to Girls in the Game, 1501 W Randolph St, Chicago, IL 60607.
