

In 1942 Naomi graduated from Utica High School in Utica Nebraska. She met her future husband, Warren Allen Hudson, while waitressing in York, Nebraska. Naomi and Allen were united in marriage on December 25, 1943 in York, the first of 60 Christmases they celebrated together. They were blessed with two children, Spencer A Hudson, born December 20, 1945 and Leilani L Hudson, born April 23, 1948.
Naomi and Allen owned and operated Hudson Hatchery in York. During this time she made custom draperies. In 1958 they purchased Johnson Lake Resort in Lexington, Nebraska. Naomi operated and ran the cafe & cabins while raising their two children.
After selling the resort in 1962, Naomi & Allen semi-retired and moved to Mesa, Arizona until 1965 when they purchased Thriftee Wholesale Food Distribution in Prescott Arizona. They returned to Mesa in 1966. Naomi got a degree in cosmetology and served as the Director of a large beauty school, later purchasing and operating two salons in Mesa. She retired in 1983 and spent the next seven years RVing throughout the United States and Canada with Allen. After settling back to Arizona, Naomi and Allen wintered in Mesa and summered in Show Low.
In 2012 it was medically necessary for Naomi to retire once more and moved into Friendship Village where she spent her last days. On March 23, 2017, Naomi made her final move when God called her home to be with her loved ones.
Naomi is survived by son Spencer (Irene) of Show Low; Daughter Leilani of Mesa; Sisters, Evelyn Munster, Idaho; Opal Wulff, California; Myrna (Larry) Tewes, Nebraska. Five Grandchildren: Stuart (Carri); Lori (Raymond) Lopez; Kelli; Jodi (Mike) Maggio; Jimmy (Christine) Shuman. Nine Great-Grandchildren; and Seven Great-Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen; Mother and Father; Sister, Mildred; Brother, Virgil and two Granddaughters, Heather and April Hudson.
A Celebration of Life, in Naomi's honor, will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Chapel 401 N. Hayden Rd. Scottsdale, AZ 85257 with a Graveside Service at Green Acres Cemetery following immediately after.
