Renee Jacqueline Levy, 84 of Phoenix was born on March 6, 1928 to Lenny and Minnie Sprinzen. If someone were to ask, "show me the perfect mother and wife," it would be our Renee. She had a heart of gold, as big as the sky. While growing up in Brooklyn she worked at her parents luncheonette. She loved horseback riding, playing piano and classical music. Hated bugs, spiders, snakes and scorpions but loved a good garage sale. She had endless energy, with a career as district manager for a major Encyclopedia publisher. While living in Buffalo, NY she managed her career, her family life and she was also running a dog breeding business. Her pride and joy show dog, Mickey, was even featured as the Miniature Schnauzer representing the breed in the Encyclopedia! Renee moved to Delray Beach Fla. with her husband Harold before retiring to Phoenix, AZ
She was born on March 6, 1928 and departed this life on May 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Leonard Sprinzen and mother,Minnie Sprinzen; Renee leaves to cherish her memory her beloved husband Harold Levy, her son Robert Scheinblum (Barbara), her daughter Jill Levy-Petersen (Terry), her grandchildren Eli and Caitlin Scheinblum and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
As we say goodbye to our beloved Mother, wife and best friend, let it be known we are not really saying goodbye, but merely saying "see you in a better place someday my love."
In her loving memory, Renee and her family would be grateful for donations made to the Arizona Humane Society.
