I worked with Robert for quite some time and I always thought of him as a good friend, supervisor and someone that always loved life. I am so sorry that I had not heard of his passing or the location of the funeral.Rest in Peace my friend



So much laughter and love was felt on your presences!  You're in my fondest memories of teaching Larke the right way to eat a drum stick and never trusting a woman with four fives!  From the priceless jokes to the comentary of lifes daily grind and the valuable adivce that no one could duplicate! You're missed and lived more that words could ever express!  Tell Poppy and Wade we send our love, keep each other company and we look forward to the time we will all be together again!


I will love you for time and all eternity.  This was my promise to you 50 years ago.  You were the Gentle-Gentleman in my life.  What a fabulous journey we had.  You could always turn a phrase for a great laugh.  The twinkle in those baby blues always told that there was mischief afoot.  You continuously provided a secure present and future.  You go now with my love to await our eternity together.  Bye Bye for now!

Memories-So many good memories.  Just a few.  Always enjoyed Bob and their son Wade playing drums together.  Both quite accomplished drummers.  Bob and his friend Del gave many performamces throughout the valley in their younger days.  For many years Linda and Bob lived out of state.  We always enjoyed our few and far between visits together.  Upon retiring back in Az, Linda and Bob drove just about every Sunday (140 miles round trip) to church at 1st Baptist it was a real joy to worship together.  We always had dinner together before they went home.  Bob always told many jokes for laughs and laugh we did. That was a light moment while waiting to be served. I don't know how he could remember so many. He is missed by so many family and friends.

It is always sad when a loved one passes away but we must take comfort in knowing that a Christian does not die but only changes their address.

I've been struggling to find the right words for what Bob meant to me and so many others at Frog Holler. There are none that seem sufficient. Friend, mentor, father, comedian, sounding board, advice giver, teacher, guiding light, voice of reason.....the list goes on and on. He could always crack us up when he would get that silly grin and roll his eyes to the right looking upwards. His life stories were amazing and always kept us enthralled. So many great memories! There are many things to miss but I am glad he and Wade are back together and watching over all of us....wishing Linda, Tara, Sean and all of his family peace....

Bob was a great man. He was much more than just a boss to so many of us youngsters at Bullforg. He was full of advise and direction, along with some great funny stories. We will truly miss him! Our hearts and prayers go out to Linda, Sean, Tara and the rest of the family. We are truly blessed to have known a man like him.

Bob was my buddy, my protector, my wise man and my clown. We met fourteen years ago at Callville Bay. I was new to the property with one acquaintance, no work and no money. Randy offered me a 30 day contract and I jumped at it.
 
It took me all of fifteen minutes on the payroll to see that the project I had signed on for was a mess that wasn't going to get cleaned up by Jan. 1. Then I met Bob. He let me know, first of all, that it wasn't the end of the world. There were more important things in life than this project, this property, this moment. That helped a lot. Then he made me laugh. Which I desperately needed. From that day forward, he taught me what to focus on and what to ignore. He showed me how to get the work done right and still have fun. When I was exhausted and frustrated he would suggest a walk to the snack bar and tell me stories until I felt better. He was always mindful of ways to tap other people and resources for help. From the moment we met, he seemed to know just what to do to help me get the job done and feel good about it. We finished the project on December 31st and I stayed on for another two years. 

When Bob and Linda moved to Casa Grande we became neighbors again. They were always so gracious whenever I came up from Tucson for a visit. I never left hungry! Linda would listen and cook while Bob and I told each other the same old stories from the lake. Then the three of us would talk about our families, our pasts, my work and my adventures. We watched each other get older, and hopefully wiser. I witnessed a love and devotion between the two of them that was deeper and more true than anything I've ever known. Our last visit was in May, before I moved to Milwaukee in June. Bob was real tired but determined to keep fighting. I still can't believe he's gone. He was a true friend, a real man, a gentle soul and funny as heck.

Bob, I will miss you dearly. You were the best father in-law a person could ask for. I will never forget the times we sat in Nana Faye's garage and you would tell me the most interesting stories while you were assistant warden at the Arizona State Prison. I also loved your passion for reading. You were a wonderful husband, father & grandfather.  May you dance and play your music for all the angels above. Go rest high on that mountain. RIP, love you and I will forever miss you.

Bob was such a gift in my life.  He was a father figure, mentor and friend that I always knew I could count on.  He challenged me to be the best person I could be and I credit him in playing a part in the person I am today.  His example of the love he had for his family and friends is beyond measure.  I'm forever grateful for the time I got to spend with him at Lake Powell and am now comforted in the knowledge that he is with Wade and all those who have gone before him.  God speed, Bob, until we meet again.

Bob was an amazing man who was a friend to my family. My younger sister worked for him when she was 18 or 19. He was so encouraging and supportive of her and encouraged her to reach for the stars. He was a mentor to our young minds, mine included. I am lucky to have had Bob pass through my life. He was an example of the community. He showed us that hard work, loving a great woman, and supporting your family, we could accomplish anything. May you enjoy all of heaven's rewards.
