.Roselyn (“Honey”) Bernice Nathan, 99, died September 8, 2017 at her home in Friendship Village of Dublin. Born September 6, 1918 to the late Harry and Sadye (Michaels) Weinberg in Bluefield, West Virginia, Honey received a teaching certificate from Concord College in 1938, after which she taught elementary school in southern West Virginia before becoming a full-time homemaker following World War II. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 46 years, Joe Nathan, in 1987 in Scottsdale, Arizona and is survived by her sons, Michael (Sandra) Nathan of Omaha, Nebraska and Jerry (Linda) Nathan of Columbus, Ohio, and by her grandsons, Joseph (Deborah) Nathan and Jeffrey Nathan, and her great grandson, Joseph Nathan, Jr. (“JJ”), all also of Columbus, Ohio. Honey is further survived by her brother, Louis (Betty) Weinberg of Short Hills, New Jersey, and by her sisters-in law, Grace Weinberg of Bluefield, West Virginia and Edith Weinberg of Boca Raton, Florida. A private funeral will be held in Scottsdale, Arizona.
