Today Papa and I visited your gravesite.  What beautiful flowers you had.  Your team from SM&Co. had placed a beautiful bouquet in a watering can with a note that said, "We still miss you."  Some leis were there and looked like around the leis were cut-out flowers with initials on them.  Then a beautiful vase of roses.  I took you an orchid and placed with the other flowers.  We do miss you so much but have joy when we know where you are and that place is heaven.  Our pain is still real but our memories of you never fade.

I was so sorry to hear of Sherri's passing.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this very sad time.

I was fortunate to be the person who Sherri chose to paint with. She was one of my very first students and always my favorite. I helped her to perfect her painting, but she perfected my attitude towards life. Her obvious joy was infective! We had one hilarious painting experience that stands out among all of the rest. She wanted to paint an adirondack chair, on the beach, with a martini glass on the arm. Oh, how we laughed and struggled with that chair! But we kept at it and finally she was able to go home with the painting. I believe I know who the recipient was...but just in case...please know that it was painted with typical Sherri mirth! A truly wonderful person. I am grateful to have known her and I will never forget her.

To the family of Sherri May,
I worked with Sherri at VNB/Chase and during that time it was always a treat to see her smiling face. I pray that you receive that supernatureal sense of peace in the middle of your hugh loss. As was said by another on this site - you never are without those that are forever in your heart.

I had the beautiful opportunity to know Sherri through but a few phone calls and email messages connecting us in our life coach training.  Sherri's genuine caring for others was effervescent in her approach to others.  I always felt so fortunate to have been touched by her genuine kindness and sincere outpouring of grace.  She felt like an angel on earth. I am grateful for the gifts Sherri bestowed upon my life and sending my love to all who will miss her in theirs.

Dear Family, Friends and Co-workers of Sherri,

I am so sorry for your shocking loss. Sherri was in my coaching class, and I was fortunate to meet and spend an evening with her and another classmate last month. She was warm, kind, genuine and generous, with an irresistable laugh! May the blessing of her life inspire and comfort you during this difficult time and always.

I LOVED Sherri, and I never got to meet her in person. I too was part of her coaching cadre. That's how we met, coaching each other on the phone. Her beautiful spirit was healing and her wisdom obvious. I am beside myself. We will miss you with us, Sherri. But your love deposits will endure in us forever.

To Sherri's family - Please accept my heartfelt sympathy over Sherri's untimely passing. While I had yet to meet her in person, she was a fellow student in my coaching class, and she always had wise and kind ideas to share. I am so sorry!

To Sherri's family and colleagues there in Arizona, I would like to extend my sincere condolences. Sherri and I were students together these last three months. Through phone calls and emails, I very quickly connected with her positive spirit and obvious ability to make everything she did a  'success" not just in the every-day sense of the word (though definitely that too) but also in the big picture scheme of things that's easy to forget in the day-today logistics -- she seemed keenly aware of the lightness, humor and beauty of living. She spoke so highly to me of her family and of her colleagues -- know that she was keenly aware of how much you meant to her. I know she felt lucky to have all of you.

I am so sorry to hear about Sherri. As you can only imagine, Sherri always had such a wonderful positive can do attitude. She truly had it figured out. The world lost a good one.

It was such a shock to hear of Sherri's passing. She was such a lovely, bubbly person and a joy to work with. I assisted her in several projects she outsourced thru my former employer.  She truly had a talent for what she did and did it so effortlessly.  She will be missed.

While I only worked with Sherri for a month it was obvious that she had enormous energy and creatibity.  Her likable personality was front and center.
A real professional in everything she did.  I wish her family strength at this time.

Through a mutual friend passing on a link to this, I just learned of Sherri's passing. I'm truly shocked and saddened to hear of it. And, Jim, though we've not seen each other for way too many years, I just wanted you to know, brother, that my prayers are with you at this sad time.

Sherri was truly unique and a one-of-a-kind. Having known you guys since somewhere around 1975 or so, I know the kind of people you are. Sherri gave me a new start in life by providing a professional opportunity, and she's the reason I'm where I am today.

Words can not begin to express my condolences for your loss. Sherry was an amazing woman, she was truly a gift from God. Although it has been several years since we have spoken, I worked with Sherry and her company while at Norwest and Wells Fargo Bank. Sherry was taken way too early, and will be missed immensely.

I had the great pleasure of working for Sherri, and the wonderful band of people she assembled at Bank One and beyond. To this day, whenever I see a pink Post-It Note, I think of Sherri and I smile. She was one of those eternally optimistic souls who always made you feel welcome and worthy, and on top of the world when you left. I had the great pleasure of knowing Sherri while she was employed at Valley National Bank and many of my fondest memories include Sherri.  I am saddened by her death - too soon, too young!!!!  A saying I have found solice in when a loved one is taken too soon is "they are not gone who live in the hearts they left behind" and I know that Sherri lives in all the hearts that she touched in her short time here.

I am heartsick beyond words at your loss Jim, Timothy, Dan, Tasha, Suzanne, Laura Lou, Kris, Priscilla & Kristopher as well as everyone who loved Sherri. Since we were kids she was the one who was overflowing with light, joy and mischief. Ask Nikki for her stories. I have never known anyone who loved to laugh more, or had more ability to bring everyone into her circle of joy - even if it was for just a moment. To Sherri's family, especially Kimberly -- It's hard to even imagine the enormity of your loss. We met Sherri when she came to Ohio for Theda's funeral and to be with Kimberly and help her with her Mother's apartment. Sherri's generous, giving, unselfish nature was obvious from the moment we were introduced. I remember Kimberly saying, "That's just who she is - she loves life and people!" Words just cannot express how our hearts feel for all of you today.  Sherri was the kind of wife, mother, daughter and daughter-in-law that we were so proud to have in our life for 30 plus years.  We agree that she was taken too early and such a tragic death that we will never understand why.  We will always remember those wonderful Christmas dinners that she fixed for the family,  the beauty and her charm that she displayed all around us.  
I know that God has that place for her mentioned in John 14:1-3.  This is our only comfort that one day we will see her again.  So, we give thanks that she touched so many lives.  The grief and the pain will be there a long time so
